Hi Guys

im on the lookout for a photographer for my wedding for 2009, its located at the Cooling Castle Barn in Medway, Kent area.

what i would like to ask is if there is anyone here local to this, that would be able to do my wedding, and also as i am looking to do weddings in the future, it would be great if i could come out as a free 2nd/3rd tog on some of there shoots so i can get some experience in too :lol:

i dont want to spend an fortune on this part as the wedding is going to abuse my bank balance soon.

I hope this is the right section to request services as i wasnt sure when browsing the forums.

I'm in Kent and have started to shoot a few weddings in the last year and hence I have fairly low prices. Take a look at my website and email me more details of what sort of coverage you are looking for and I will let you know a price.

id like to photog my own wedding, but that would be quite difficult :D

Its the same old problem with weddings and there cost

Wedding dress how much
Reception How much
Cars How much
Booze and food How much
Honeymoon How much

Photography, the story book of the happiest day of your life How Little.

Good photographers charge a good fee. Some old Joe at work may be able to take a few snaps but is that what you want to remember your wedding.

Your getting married in a nice location pay the price to get the best you can.

Not necessarily Paul, I know good photographers that don't charge the earth.

Dave - Cooling Castle, you know you can have Jools Hollands for only £25,000. My mate asked just out of interest as it's his back garden :lol:

yeah just for 25k, i might as well get him :P

my pricing is prob around £1000, which i believe is not too much considering what some people do charge for there work, i think that is a reasonable price :)
 
Hi I don't live in Kent but i'm a reasonable distance away I'm an ex RAF Phot and am setting up my own business I'd love to have a bid in doing your wedding for that price i would cover the getting ready before during and after the ceremony shots all your normal groups and so on plus evening do i.e first dance ect have a look at the 2 weddings i've done this summer at www.photoboxgalleries.com/zalickphotography let me know what you think do you want an album put together prints ect or would you just like images on a CD that you can print yourself any way get in touch.

i said no to the olympus forums as i would like to tag along with the photographer to other weddings and would like to learn more about wedding shooting using the equipment im familiar with :)
 
Lol not sure what i'll have by then currently trying to make the huge decision between canon and nikon

Sure thing, good call if you want to learn on the kit you're familiar with - that's a good reason - and its your wedding of course. You might wish to let the Nikon owners know you don't want them either eh...:) hehe.
