Hi peeps, my hubby been working hard this weekend painting and laying the flooring for my studio, i have a 750 sq ft startup unit, here is a pic taken with his iphone

It may be worth getting somthing to put in front of the white walls, you will get bounced light especially from umbrella's.

Looking good so far. i agree about the walls though, there will be bags of light bouncing around. perhaps some black curtains or even paint some of the walls darker?

Just one really stupidly minor point, light stands are most stable when the leg beams are horizontal. Especially important for the background stand.

Im really jealous. Great start. I propose paper background, so Im not sure what You need painting floor.

I've just received a quote for a 750sq ft space and it's left me feeling

thanks peeps, yes i am trying to sort out curtains now for the side walls, i was 1/2 tempted to go for grey walls but decided it would look too glum, my hubby set the stands up so they have been adjusted on my first visit, unit costs about 300 a month, no council tax as its in an objective one area, its just ten mins down the road from me so its easy for me to nip down after work to get some practice in
