Hey guys, I'm just in the process of moving into a new studio, along with two other photographers to expand the business a bit, and Although Im not down there every day, as I have to stay at home with the babba some days, I can't get every step of the way. But here's some pics I took whilst there last week...It should be ready soon, and we're all a bit excited!

I realise these pics aren't really showing the full studio, but I was stuck to my chair feeding, so this is what I could get hehe...I'll take better ones next week, I promise haha!
 
Liking the height and space you have there. Will all those power points not be hidden behind your background. I would also make sure there is enough space for your background light stands. It looks like you have a lot of room to camera left (pic 4) for a stand but it is pretty tight on the right. The stands take up a surprising amount of floor space.

I have bought a couple of wall booms which would be ideal in your studio. The wall colour may also give you some issues depending on the amount of light bouncing around. I went for neautral grey which is working really well for me.

Looks like it will be a great space when you've got it finished and a great idea going in with a couple of other togs.
 
Looks like the older fella should swap the hammer for a fly squat or you'll have no walls left!!
 
that is a good space, id paint the walls white and get some laminate down will be great.

the carpet will be more of an issue that the wall colour, youd get blue tint on skin.... would be interesting
 
We've moved from a really small studio, so this space is huge for us!

The backgrounds will cover all the powerpoints, yes, and we're painting the walls white, but have to keep the carpet for now!

you cant keep the carpets, shoes will go through your backdrops and the carpet WILL cast a blue cast on people. sorry:(

Good luck, although I spotted one downer........there are no tea making facility's for the workers.:D
 
Ahh, there is a kitchen just out of shot!

And a seperate office bit too!

I am sooo envious of your new place, looks great - a nice blank canvas to work with. I really hope it all goes well... and if I'm ever in the area, I'd love to see it :)
 
Hey guys, the stdio is now finished (has been for a while, but I've been mega busy) And I have since shot some babies in there!! But, I will get a panoramic next time I'm there...Even if it kills me lol! We have lots more lights and are renting it out if anyone in the pembs area is interested!!
