Trying to get my head around LR4 at the moment. As the vast majority of my editing was now happening in camera raw I thought it time to switch to LR.
I am struggling to emulate my workflow though and wondered if someone could take the time to help me understand. For example, my workflow for a wedding, shot in raw (ignoring back up's etc.) :-
1) Open all in camera raw
2) Select all
3) Review all full screen and rate
4) Make selection
5) Filter by lens, open each batch by lens in camera raw and apply lens profile
6) Filter by ISO, apply luminence noise reduction batched in camera raw based on ISO level
7) Some global tweaks in camera raw
8) Open remaining images in batches of 10, b+w, selective colour, crop etc. in camera raw then open all in photoshop.
9) Any further tweaks required or effects / plug ins to each image then unsharp mask and save as jpg.
What is the lightroom equivelent, how to work on multiple raws etc. ?
