So over the last year I have been so busy with uni that my camera has been pretty neglected. I am forever wanting to go out with it but I always seem to have something else to be doing... Also with only having my bike for transportation it can be quite a pain in the arse to get anywhere with all my gear.

To make up for this I decided I would set myself a challenge, inspired by this thread and SamualSlade007's work and advice, I set about doing a photo 24. 24 hours, 24 photos.

The rules I set myself were that photos are to be shot every hour, on the hour, although I did give myself a 10 minute leeway on this after a while, and that all photos should follow a different theme.

I started at 0000 on Friday (after being up since 0800) and finished 0000 last night.

Here's the results!

James. I'm with Andy...mind the gap really sticks out...but then again you do have such a variety... Well done accomplishing your first 24.. Does it inspire you to do it again though..that's the ticket...

You did employ a number of techniques..from simple dof angles to creatively capturing the upper floors of the tower...

Well done James..

Thanks for the comments guys

I made a point of trying to keep the theme of each hour different, this added to the challenge nicely.

I definitely will be doing this again, I have my list of things I will do differently next time!!

Currently planning my next photo 24, this time I'm intending to spend it in London, midday - midday to really add to the challenge!! Should make life a little more interesting!

This is such a good thread, I can sympathise with the the lack of pictures due to uni work

Some awesome shots there, has definitely got me thinking about trying one myself!
