After good feedback from doing this last year, I've again put together my "annual report" detailing how much I've made from football photography in the 2011-12 season.

Hopefully it makes interesting reading for some of you...

Oh - and tomorrow will be a good day as the Terry stuff has kicked off again :D.

Where would you be (financially) w/o JT? LOL.
Thanks for posting. Hopefully that other member wanting to know about sports photography can get the low down from this.

Good write up Andy. Interesting reading and almost too honest! :D

Enjoyed the read which made me realise that my earnings from football, whilst not as good as yours, aren't as bad as I thought.

Incidentally, like your Faroe Islands stuff, I was there at the beginning of June too. Breathtaking scenery with prices to match!

Nice write up Andy! Looking forward to what you come up with next season! Loving this quote aswell lol.... "Daniel “The Daddy” Hambury"

Just read both of your posts as I hadn't seen the last one, very interesting reading

Thanks for sharing and best of luck next season

Excellent as usual.

Thanks for sharing.

Surprised by the figures, even though football is only a fraction of what you shoot I can see why sports togs are getting more and more upset at the current state of play.

Great read, I myself started covering Scottish Football last year and was fortunate enough to get quite a few shots in national publications. I think I will do something similar this season, although it might get a bit scary! I know its easy to get down when you cover a few games and get nothing, but the highs when you pick up the morning paper and see one of your shots more than compensates!

Thanks Andy. If only there were that amount of controversy at every game?!

From a financial point of view, it might be worth only going to games where Joey Barton, John Terry or Luis Suarez are playing!
