A little while ago, I was asked to do a wedding for a friend, at first I said no, but then as we all do, I said Ok then I will.

Asked a few questions on here, and got some great advice and links. Thanks again every body.

Well, the Wedding was last saturday, and to be completely honest, I really enjoyed every single moment of it. Was so nervous it was unbelievable, untill I got the camera out of the bag, then I completely calmed down and felt relaxed and more or less in control.

I dont want to post many of the pics because the Bride and Groom havent seen them yet, (they come back off their honeymoon on monday night)

but here are a couple random ones.

They do seem to have lost a little quality on the downsizing (But you should get the idea)

The couple on the stairway is a very nice shot, though I'd crop the blue moulding on the left, darken the twin lights a bit, clone out the specs on the step and maybe the green signs top right.

The mirror glass in number one needs cleaning up a bit.

I have cleaned up the stairs and removed the green sign, and the mirror one, have also done a version of it with everything in black and white but the bride in colour (cheesey I know but I know she likes that kind of effect form a conversation we had before hand)

all in all I took a little over 1300 pics (but was shooting in bursts so to get lots of options to miss blinkies) so overall there were about 400 'poses' of those I chose 200 which I am going to take down this week, so they can choose which they want printing.

One person has seen them all (because thir cousin is getting married this weekend coming, and was hoping to get in, but unfortunalty they had booked somebody out of the local evening paper the day before I went).

The person I showed, had just recieved the pics from her sisters wedding a month before, and in all fairness, a lot of mine were at least as good as his, and he was a pro and charged £500 for just the wedding service, so there is hope for me lol

Hoping to get some more experience, which I hope will lead to improvement, but all in all I am quite happy with my first attempt, and I hope the bride and groom are.

Incidently I agread to do the wedding as my present to them, but they have to pay for the printing, at cost, but I will charge for any reprints for family / friends who want them.

they dont do anything for me mate sorry, maybe you select the wrong ones to post up?

but none of them have any impact.

the one with them on the staircase and them coming out of the limo have potential

not bad for a first effot though,

having said that ive got my first wedding booked up in september so i shouldnt speak to soon!
