Although had read the manual through, I was obviously still a bit lost when it came to hands on on Christmas day, and didn't manage to get much time on that day to play around with it much so left it mainly in Program mode.
When taking some family portraits I also settled for the Program mode for now, until I get to now the camera, I didn't want to mess up with shots of people I wouldn't see till next year.
Here is one of my images
that I am happy with, though wonder if it would of been better with all the nuts in focus, alas not able to recreate as all nuts have now gone .
After playing around with it around house, I find that I am using ISO 400 a lot, and see the benefits of getting a lens with larger f-stop also with the dreary daylight outside.
So its off to some more playing about with the camera and finding new subjects to photo, and hoping I will have something reasonable to post on here.
I also went for the crumpler pretty boy XL, which alright for now with my limited equipment, I can see it being a bit tight for space with another lens in.
