I was sick of craning my next when using the laptop on the table so I knocked together this out of old bits of wood lying around.

Yeah I know its not pretty but it works well :thumbs:could paint it or sand it down I suppose to make it more presentable... :lol:

*LOL* its not that bad honest, I think I was a little close before here it is from the front

Excuse the photos taken on compact and excuse the mess in the house just been doing some DIY (not the stand)
 
Try again a bit further back ;)
 
It's a utilitarian piece, it doesnt need to be pretty :D

Yeah of course I am not concerned as to how it looks but to how it works. Only took around an hour to make a few weeks back and since then its been a great addition to my laptop, less strain on my neck :bonk:
 
Hope you drilled a few holes in the base of your stand for better ventilation?

As for design, IKEA are looking for folk!

My other hobby is making furniture. I've made a lot of things now but that is certainly a design I've never considered before.

I wonder why :)

Ahhh...the jealousy, its a horrible thing to see :D :p
