I received a lovely EMail from "my bank" earlier today.

If I don't reply as soon as possible to confirm my account details and card number they're going to "suspender" my account and block access to my funds.

What do you all think?
Should I reply as quickly as I can or hold off and see if they put my bank manager in suspenders?

I think that is one for the Junk Bin, I get loads of these saying similar things.....I wouldn't mind so much but I have never held an account with any of the banks mentioned.

Ask for a photo to confirm

are you sure it is cosha...I get e mails all the time from different banks including my own saying they need to update certain things asking for details.NEVER EVER reply especially with your bank details over internet... IF bank has any changes for you they will contact usually by letter or phone call.
THIS IS CONMEN TRYING TO GET YOUR BANK DETAILS ..and yes they do look official even down to the proper letterheads.

lol at this thread. Think everyone is aware that it's a con... but at least it's a funny one.

I had one similar from Natwest and HSBC even though i don't bank with them

Duely reported.

Rob.

Why....is money "tight(s)" ?

Trying to think of a stockings pun to come back with, but I can't think of one.

Don't worry - I have no intention of replying :)
I wouldn't normally even post about it, but the misspelling of suspended in this one tickled me for some reason.

Tell them if thats the case you will put your money into a different Branch
