The video looks great and the band sound really good, I must have a look on FB to find you!

I've got start looking around for someone in a few months to shoot a video for my son's band and I have no idea where to start, did you do much planning for the shoot and how long did it take?

very nice mate

Wow thanks for the reply guys, forgot I posted this! Planning for the video was a nightmare! Most places wanted in excess of £1000 to hire their land as well as all kinds of documentation. In the end we knew someone who owned a tiny bit of woodland area so got it for free.

The actual video itself took around 10 hours to shoot. Arrived on location at around 5:30 setup the set (pa, generator, lighting, lamps hang the hearts) whilst shooting the scenes with the actors which took around 4 hours, Then shot the band scenes. I got home at about 5:45 in the morning ha ha a lot of work for a 3 minute long video.

We were really luky with the weather as well, although it was freezing (-1) we had no rain! The day after we had really bad flooding and the village near the woods where we shot was flooded and closed off.

The same guy shot our first single as well just search for "the karma heart - come alive" on you tube.

Awesome video and even better song. Really enjoyed it, subbed. :)

Good stuff, how did u do the blue flares and leaks?

I like this (in my most surprised voice)!

For some reason when I first clicked, I didn't think it would be my cup of tea (the song), but this is really catchy and I can't wait to listen on some proper speakers later.

Your band are very good and the the lead vocalist has a very go good voice too.

Of course, you wanted feedback on the video didn't you!

I liked it. The only thing I would say (and perhaps this is because I am a drummer and play keyboards a bit), there seemed to be a few parts at the beginning where some of the band members playing did not match what I was seeing on screen. But the average viewer would never notice.
