Does anyone use muslin for full length shots where the floor is in shot or are the majority of you using paper. I ask because in a previous thread I was told that paper is easier to use as it's crease free but I keep being swayed toward the muslin as I think it will last longer. I'm after a grey to use un-lit and lit with gels, but my concern is creases. I have a white muslin that I keep on a length of 50mm white pipe that keeps creases off but when i hang it there are what look like waves/ripples in it, and also on the floor it is the same. I'm worried that if I buy a grey muslin I will have the same issues, especially when I light it with a gel. Does anyone have any example pics of full length shots on muslin.

Get paper. Of course the muslin will last longer, but the paper is better and worth it. Get big roles.

Have you considered vinyl? More expensive than paper, but harder wearing, longer lasting and less prone to creasing.

Do you like washing dishes or eating on paper plates?

Graeme - I havn't considered vinyl, the cost is an issue though as there is a few things that I need to buy and the wife doesn't understand why I feel the need to plough endless amounts of money into this ''cheap hobby'' that I keep telling her it is. I will look into it though.
