Anyone know where to get a good one?

I bought one off Amazon for my mam and it looked nice enough and when you opened it a dancer popped up and spun around and the music played but within no time at all it wouldn't shut properly and how the hinges have disintegrated. It's just rubbish quality. There are a lot of different ones on Amazon but I'm worried about buying another poor quality one. One I looked at was £25/£30 depending on colour but look further down and the exact same one is £14.99. Or £49. The same one... £14.99 from one place, £30 from another and £49 from another.

Does anyone know where you can get a decent one?

I'm not the best at googling and wading through, just wondered if anyone has bought a decent one and can tell me where from.

New ones will almost all be toys for children. I'd be looking in antique shops for a better one and be prepared to spend a few quid.

There are plenty of adult ones about but as above prices for the same item are all over the place and therefore I guess no guarantee of quality.

The first one doesn't have a dancer and although the second one does there's very limited space for jewellery.

Another thought I had was if someone could make a box and include the mechanism I already have in the shoddily made and falling apart box. If any woodworkers are reading this and fancy knocking up a box just let me know and we'll come to an arrangement on price You never know
