Mushroom ID please?

I took a couple of pictures yesterday, I've had a look I think the first one may be a Parasol mushroom perhaps?

If anyone could take the time to let me know what these are I'd appreciate it!....and whether they are edible!

No idea what this mushroom is, I'm sure I've seen them before, but can't see anything on the internet with the cross/star shape on top, (probably not looking in the right place!)

The first shot looks like Parasols. However, I can't get an idea of the size from the other shots. Parasols when fully grown are big; 30cm tall and close to that wide is not unusual.

If they are Parasols then they are edible and they are very good.


Now, if you are thinking of picking these to eat, please ignore EVERYTHING I have just said.

Unless you are ABSOLUTELY sure what they are do not even think of eating them.
