Multi aperture design?

Hi,

I'd like to put together some multi images like this:

or this:

I'm looking at the layout not the actual PP of the images.

It seems as though it would take a while to put together on PS - is there an application or an add-on that will generate such an image? I have tried Picture Package in PS but it appears very limted.

By the way - those images are not mine

Picasa3 is a free download and has a collage option. You can choose various layout options and, depending on your chosen layout, you can move, resize, rotate etc individual pics. You can change the spacing (grid) size & colour.
This took seconds to produce.

These are simple templates, they are often given away free with various photo mags or can be found on the net, they are also easy enough to make yourself with photoshop.

I love those first set of images....is that gels on a grey background?
