One for you pc people. Purchased refurbished pc from local shop after taking mine in for a cd drive problem.
Got call from them saying you need to come and look at your base unit. About 10 of the capacitors had blown and was told only matter of time before rest go.
Anyway, got refurbished pc, they put my drives in and checked cd drive, all working.
Ended up back down yesterday as cd drive wasn't working properly so they put a new one in.
Onto latest problem. G/f's iphone wouldn't sync as pc didn't recognise it being plugged in, she ended up calling apple who took her through what to do. After trying everything else they said reboot and go into safe mode.
Unfortunately there is no safe mode, no ms dos prompt.
I am presuming we should have it, and if I should have it any reason you think I don't have it.
Thanks
