weekly Mr Perceptive's Long Exposure 52 for 2016

Cool idea and a beautiful way to start!
Do you think it could be a good idea to erase from the light tower
the adjustments done to the sky?

I'm always jeaous of decent ladscapes, this is lovely.

The lighthouse is very nice well, composed, some nice converging lines:)
Two nice gritty images, #1 looks like it is leaking ready to burst, adding more interest,
2 has nice symetery, b&w suits well done,:)

Great idead for a 52, bet this is going to be a good thread to follow. Good luck completing your 52

Good to see a different take on the 52!
Good shots so far too - 1 would be a relatively easy edit to remove more of the magenta (if you wanted to), but I think it works well as is. I think I prefer your 'practice shot' of the canal lock too, you get a real sense of the motion in the water - great shot.
The Chester one is nice too, big stopper certainly helps to blur out the people walking by. To say that exact spot is 10mins walk from where I live and am sitting right now, I've never taken any photos up there (clock bridge I assume?) It's a cool perspective and works well with the long exposure.

Yes from the clock bridge, using a gorillapod around the railings (didn't want to block footway with tripod!) - Thanks for your comments

Glad I have seen this; an excellent take on the 52 theme and some fabulous images - the lighthouse and lock images stand out at this stage. Your street image is kind of ghostly and I love the colours. I appreciate you were busy so possibly an idea to return to at a different time of day - sunrise or evening for example.

Fabulous to see another Fuji user in the 52 mix

Will keep watching this thread with interest.

Spooks

Nice start to the project, my favourite so far is the Ghosts of Chester image. Really like the colours and processing on that one, also the mix of "ghosts" and the few people that have stayed still for the exposure.

I really like long exposure work and would like to start taking some more myself, so will watch this project with interest. Good luck for the rest of the 52.

I really like your 52, good idea and theme! Lots of places I recognise too, so I think you might be local to me - Chester way by any chance?
Your week 11 does look a smidge underexposed to me - had a quick tweak of the levels, hope that's OK:
