weekly Mr Pants' 52 shots for the year

I have no idea what this is but I like the lines and shapes, I would suggest a little more contrast maybe as it is a little uniform gray to me but the detail is amazing.

What is it?

Also if you post in this thread people will see your image :)

Great pic. Like Ruth I think a bit more contrast would really add to it

These are some of the cylinder heads of a radial engine.

Hello and welcome to the challenge, firstly may I take the time by saying what a superb choice for the theme. the composition works well, plenty of detail to be seen in the image, nice work I look forward to seeing what else you have to offer.

Metal: Good take on the theme and a nice composition

Captive: Lovely image with some lovely detail

For 'Miniature' didn't take any photos at all this week (last week now), apart from this quick snap with my 'phone. This blown headlamp bulb looks like a miniature Bender.

She's happy, because she's just paid for our big holiday this year and got a new bear to take along. I'm happy, as I'm playing with my new (to me, anyway) camera.

Miniature - Its got a bigger nose than bender but I see what you mean

Happy - she certainly does look happy great photo clear and sharp

I'd just like to add that I know that I haven't been commenting on anybody's pics. At the moment, I've got a load of stuff to get through, so haven't got the time to give some meaningful comments. I hope to have cleared my backlog soon and get out there commenting.

Three cracking shots there.
I had no idea what the first one was. but I loved it nonetheless!

Abandoned - noo don't abandon your camera.
