Moving pics in Lightroom

ok i have a bunch of photos on my G9, the thumbnails from which wont show on windows raw viewer and i want to sort them into folders.

How do i move the pictures in a folder to another folder in lightroom so i can see the picture?

In library module view the folders in the left had column, then drag and drop...
