Good morning guys and girls!
Just thought I'd introduce myself and say hello! I'm Josh from Stalybridge (or Stalyvegas for those of you that know the area a little better haha!)
I've always had a love for photography and wanted to 'get into it properly' for want of a better phrase!
Originally I intended to buy a second hand Canon 40D or 50D when funds allowed! However, i was recently I was given a stunning Praktica MTL5 35mm SLR by the girlfriends dad, it's in mint condition and I got a few lenses with it - Carl Zeiss Jena DDR 135, standard 50mm f1.8 and a wide angle 28/2.9
along with a sunpak 1600a flash!
Since acquiring this, I've bought a further 2 cameras, a TL5B and an MTL3 having still not even used the MTL5 yet haha!
Now armed with these classic, I've decided I'd love to learn about photography starting with the very basics and everything manual!
So, I've got lots of questions and things to learn starting with things like aperture, film speed etc etc!
Thanks for reading - now to go start researching and posting some stupid questions haha!
