I'm off for a little photo trip this weekend. I'm planning on Rattray Head for sunset tomorrow and Bow Fiddle Rock for sunrise on Saturday morning with some astro in between if weather permits. At that point I will have a fair amount of time to fill before watching Hibs play Aberdeen at Pittodrie. I could stay on the coast but wouldn't mind trying some nature shots if there is anything worth visiting between Portknockie and Aberdeen. I've never taken a shot of a Red Squirrel so that would be great.I doubt the bluebells will be out that far north but if there are any that would interest me too. Other than that any coastal locations that are worth a visit.

Cheers. Plenty seals around where I live. They are a pest when you are out Kayak fishing but then again I suppose I'm the one in their back yard at that point. I had one follow me for a good mile one day to the point where I just went in. It kept popping its head out of teh water and snorting at me. Big creatures when they are up close.

Living in the midlands. I’m about as far from the sea as you can get. When I get the chance I enjoy watching them play. Most of my kayaking over the years has been on rivers where seals tend not to pose much of a threat

Lived and worked not too far East of Inverness for some 5yrs, and the area around Forres, including Findhorn Bay (especially for sunsets) was nothing short of spectacular.

Love Findhorn, especially the Foundation, quite a special place.
