Monopod users

I have seen a few people use the belt cup/holder for their monopods and did a little research. The manfrotto holster was the only thing I could find at first but with a little more digging found this as a cheap option. Ordered one and it arrived this morning, I was hoping to test it at Cadwell this weekend but something has come up :shake: I use a gripped D300 and a Sigma 100-300 + tc and had a quick play and it feel very comfortable. It's palstic with some foam padding to the rear and includes a sturdy belt the pin, the pin is removable as it's not required. Not sure I'd risk a 400 2.8 having held the Nikon 300 2.8 it should be fine.

I have one of those Manfrotto ones works fine. ut to be honest i forgotton it a couple of times and used things line a mobile phone holder and the last time I used a cheap belt pouch. They both worked as good.
