Monitor Choices

I'm after upgrading my main monitor and am looking at either a 28" 4k or a 27" 1440p. Primarily for photography work, but also for gaming.
Current system is a 3rd gen i7, 16gb ddr3 and a nVidia 970GTX card with 4gb DDR5.

Ideal budget is about the £350 mark and my current choices are:

Asus 4k 28" 4K TN display

Dell 1440p 27" IPS display

You would need a monster GPU setup to drive games at native 4K. I run a 30" Dell 3014 @ 2560x1600 driven by 2x crossfire R9 280X and it's just about ok. 2713 definitely the right option!
