Hello all, Im currently taking photography AS level at cirencester college,

Do any of you know a Good place where I can find models for my portrait photography in the gloucestershire and cirencester area?

Although because I am a student i am on a rather tight budget and would prefer if I could offer something like free prints of the photos in exchange for the services.

have a gander at www.purestorm.co.uk and search in your local area for 'time for prints' models.
i've never used it myself, but i've heard it can be a bit hit and miss to actually get approved on that site. there's a few other sites offering similar things... modelmayhem, netmodels (i've guessed at those names - but i think they're right) :shrug:

Doesn't your college cover this with you?

Before our fashion block (the only block where we HAD to use models) at Glasgow Met we had an intro session with the manager of a local modelling agency.

The agency we got intro'd to had new talent who needed headshots and stuff for their portfolio so they would work for us on the proviso that we provide them/the agency with said required headshots.
For some people the headshot could be taken from part of the college work, for others who were doing some more niche with the models they had to do a separate shoot as the models/agency wanted pretty straight forward shots to show clients what the model looked like.
Note: we supplied the model/agency with the headshots digitally.

Thankss all. The main problem is ive started a college where none of my friends have gone to so not made any friends willing to do the modelling. Thanks for all the great options, Ill be uploading photos in the next week or two so keep an eye out for them.
