Hi there,
Have just bought some cheap studio lights but the modelling bulb which came with it was smashed, im awaiting another. But in the meantime I bought a EVEREADY 20w / 1152lm / 220-240V/50Hz energy saving lamp. The 20w is equal to 100w, which is still a lot lower than the recommended 250w for these lights but I thought would give it a try. once one I flickers quite a lot and im not to sure if its safe etc.
Any suggestions? will the lamp be ok if I just leave it on for awhile, or are energy bulbs useless for modelling bulbs.
I cant find the exact model on website. but this is the dimmable version - http://www.energysavingonline.co.uk/20watt-dimmable-edison-screw-spiral-light-bulb-by-eveready
Cheers
