This arrived the other day a step up filter adapter from China

43.5 to 52 mm so I can use my stash of Nikon filters on my Trip 35

I am planning on popping a 400 ISO B and W Illford initt and see what comes out with the yellow filter.

Thoughts?

 
Looks kinda cool...... a Trip with shades :cool::D

Filters aren't something I've used much so can't really offer advice etc .... Interested in what results you get though.
 
Popped a little 52mm shade on it just in case the filter catches any side reflections

 
It's almost standard practice to fit a yellow or orange filter if the film is B&W and the subject has any sky in it. I wouldn't shoot the whole roll with that lens hood on though, as I think it might vignette with the step up ring and the semi wide angle lens on the Trip.

In the end I couldn't use the hood as it obscured most of the site window for framing the shot.
it did look cool though....
