i am lucky to have a scenic drive for the school run especially when there is early morning mist with silhouette trees and rolling landscape. What are the best settings for the camera to get this moody setting?
I'm no expert but here are a couple of examples of my work. If you click in to them the settings i used are on my Flickr page.
The most important thing is to get out there and try various settings to achieve the results that YOU want. Thats the beauty of digital, you have instant feedback and can try something different while the subject is still there.
That 2nd one is fantastic Martyn.
I'd think in particular you'd need to be keeping the scene technically under-exposed by quite a bit to maintain the early morning feeling.
