I read in the local rag that HMS Daring was in Liverpool for four days. So being a Navy contactor I thought I'd go and have a looksee. Last night I popped out to get a shot from the Wirral but it wasn't even worth getting the camera out the bag. So first thing this morning I jumped in the car and headed over the river....only to find an empty berth.

She must have sailed early. So much for four days....

I know how you feel, a while back we got at up in the middle of the night and drove down to Greenock to see the QE2 coming in at early o'clock, only to discover she was a couple of hours ahead of schedule and already docked :bang:

Arh Greenock....Lovely place, Got off a Frigate there two weeks ago.....My kit is still wet!
