Missed opportunity

I learnt a lesson the evening... Always Keep your battery charged.

I got back from our hols last week and put my kit in its home. This afternoon i noticed large plumes of smoke drifting over our house from what was obviously a large fire. I jumped in my car and followed the smoke to its origin, got there and a great photo op presented itself as a factory was ablaze. I got my camera out, pointed and .....nothing. FLAT BATTERY!

Mark, it was some units in Newstead village. The smoke was seen from about 7 miles away.

Needless to say my camera battery is charging as i type and a spare is on order.
