Hi

Just got my new PC, which is running running the Vista Home addition, problem being I cannot get it to run my slide/negative scanner any ideas greatfully received.

Looks like you need the Vista Drivers. Don't honestly know if they are available, try Google to see if you can find any.
 
Searched the net but it appears drivers only go up to XP. So looking for an alternative if there is one.

Other than older OS or newer scanner, is there likely to be a way to get something working without a driver?

It does seem silly that as technology move forward we lose functionality. Tech..... it really does bake my noodle. :bonk:

Inclined to agree, my HP Flatbed scanner wont work either.

Just seen on the news that Polaroid are going to stop producing film for their cameras, I have an old Uncle that still uses his!
