Minolta 28mm F/2.8 ... Lens Servicing, Help!!

Hi,

I have the above lens and have some fungus, so I have stripped down the top part of the lens and removed the optics ... how do I split the optic to remove the fungus?

Help would really be appreciated.

Do you mean you've removed a group of elements and you need to clean the fungus inbetween? Not sure about this lens, but these are often glued and therefore not cleanable.

Thank you both, I have disassembled and removed the group of elements. Managed to split them in the end! The lacquer was set on but after a good soak in Toulene it softened enough to separate them.

One nicely serviced 28mm ready for use now
