I have volunteered to shoot some mostly documentary shots for a museum of their exhibits. They want some catalogue shots and some more creative ones. I have a light tent, a lencarta product table, an angle poise lamp, set of reflectors and one flash gun... (!)
What else would I need as a bare minimum to produce decent results? I'm currently stuck in the loop of being unable to pitch for work as I don't have what I think is needed as even minimal equipment but I can't afford to lash out on equipment as I haven't got the work lined up.
Museum is a freebie but I fear I don't even have even the bare basics to do anything that is fit to be seen. It's an opportunity to experiment and learn with what I have but is there anything I'm missing.
I was looking at the cheap lencarta continous light with softbox as a starting point as right now that is all the budget can stretch to but if it is a waste of money then there's no point buying it and that £150 can go towards something more suitable.
Help!
