The UK's first wet plate collodion weekend meet up is happening on saturday and sunday in the scottish borders. A pile of the UK's practioners, myself included, will be descending on Rubislaw Campsite just outside Hawick. I am sure that no-one would mind if interested parties popped over to see what we do. I expect there will be plates being made all day both days. I'll be taking up my whole plate and my new 10x12 camera. Should be fun!

This fascinates me, sadly I'm way too far away. Is there a web site ?

I'm sure there will be another next year and there was a cracking one i went to in The Netherlands...it was European Collodion Weekend

There is no website for the UK contingent. It was organised through the UK Collodion facebook group. Many of us are also members of another colldion facebook group that has just started a new website as a resource for all things Wet Plate.

don't know how to tiny url it...the missing word is a description of someone of illegitimate parentage....that should help you to work it out
