weekly Midland Red's 52 - Wk 3 (Close), 7 (Sense), 8 (Ending)

It gets easier as the weeks go on, until you get to a week when it gets tricky!

Fine start - nice blue sky, all line heading up to the top "third", can't decide if the tree and chimney add, or detract.

Looks like nice warm light hitting the side of the pole too. :thumbs:

click the #1 on your post in this thread, (bottom right corner).... ctrl C the box that pops up to copy the code..... (close the box).

then in the pictures thread, (edit your post), highlight the words that you want to become the clickable part, press the "chain link" (8 on its side, infinity sign), and paste in the code you copied earlier

What Graham says is right. I use Firefox and works for me. Altho I don't use Control C

Click the #1 on your post in this thread, (bottom right corner)....this will bring up a dialogue box. I then highlight ALL of the top line which looks a bit like this ....http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/th...n-2014-week-1-line-added.524519/#post-6032618

Then I click and highlight on the Link word that I have typed i the 52 thread , press the 'chain link ' icon (9th from left on the toolbar) and insert the copied line and hey presto _ hopefully:)

Nice start.

I'd be inclined to crop out the branches and the ariel though and a little ccw rotation to square up the post :)
 
Nice idea, looks a lot lile the one just to the front of my house.

Much prefer the crop, glad you posted it after the couple of comments. A nice clean image, well exposed and right on theme.

Much prefer the edit. Good to see feedback being used. It's not always the case with other people on other parts of the forum. Certainly covers the theme and appears to be well exposed.

Cropped version works a treat...loads of lines , lovely warm lighting on the pole & some blue sky is always a bonus (y)

the 52 challenge is Hard work , frustrating & down right iritating at times ( most of the time actually :D ) but it's a great place to be & very rewarding when you get it right....you've made a cracking start by taking on board crit & editing your shot to match....a big (y)

A picture of the logo in context or some suitable props could have improved the compostion.
 
Sometime life gets in the way.

On theme, nice and bright, but, as has been said, a little context would be good.

Line much prefer the cropped version, play, nice and clean, colours are good
 
I really like the fact it stands out and appears to have no actual bg (y)
