Microsoft Outlook?

Are any users of Microsoft Outlook having any problem signing in? I used it this morning but when I tried to sign in about 20 mins ago I got nowhere.

It would not accept my password even though I displayed it so know what I typed was correct. It wanted to send a security code to a different gmail email I use. When I put that code into Outlook it then wanted to send another code to my phone. I used this code but got a message that said the method isn't working now and try another way, but with no means of trying another way.

I've checked online and can't find anything wrong, just wondered if anyone else who uses Outlook is having a problem.

Should have said I've used CCleaner, turned the PC off and then back on but still no dice.

They have apparently been having sporadic issues of this type for months now (I have had such issues on roughly every third Friday this year..)

Scroll down to ‘consumer products’. There are more granular details you get access to in enterprise editions but if you have sporadic issues with MS products it’s worth checking here before troubleshooting at home

Thanks for the replies all. Outlook is working again now but the login is a bit different. There a couple of screen to go passed before you can enter the password.

I set up an outlook a/c and it worked fine with a browser, but accessing through Thunderbird on win 10 has never succeeded. I have better things to do with my time so I written it off and will use another yahoo a/c

Not working again today. DownDetector has recorded problems.
