signed up to do a 365 with others that have done the OU T189 photography course on flickr.. not sure how long i'll last, but will have a good go at it :D

thanks, you cant really go wrong when you get fabulous sunsets like the past couple of days here.. am back home to manchester tomorrow night so the locations wont be as picturesque ;)

Really like the first one, the sillouttes of the bird and people work really well!

Very good colour on the first one, maybe the horizon could be less central, but no real problem.

good use of DOF on the second shot.
 
thanks for comments, todays was a bit rushed as had to travel back home.. 12 hours on the go and am wide awake! :)

Loved your shots from the Mancheter meet so I will be keeping an eye on this thread. 3 great shots to start with, love the colours in the first 2. Not brave enough to do a 365 yet but I've jumped on the 52 bandwagon.

thank you!.. am wondering myself why I thought it would be a good idea to do a 365! :eek:

am doing the themed 52's also.. kinda have one ready for that but will see if I can get a better shot before I post it.. will watch out for yours :)
 
Nice start to your 365, cracking sunset you got there & i'm liking the stylophone shot too, my dad was showing me a tune on it the other day, but to me it just sounded like a buzzer..:shrug: lol

Nice work and i look forward to seeing more.. :D

thanks ian.. I use paintshop pro photo for processing.. had a play about with the film and filter effects for this.. took an age to put the three together though, had to rope in my daughters help for that I have to admit!
 
awesome set mich! Love the kittycat one... =)

Particularly love #1 and #4 and #5, 1 is just pure awesomeness, #4 has great DoF, and finally 5 has fantastic clarity in the little'ns eyes! =)

i really like this photo. Our cat has had a face on her all day long as she hates going out in the cold and snow lol
 
number 6 is well put together, nice idea. I~ seem to have lost my monkey since my granddaughter took a liking to it.
 
thanks all.. seem to have lost my big monkey.. had to use the small one and snip off the suckers on his hands..

might use him in the future :)

too cold to venture out.. sick of looking at snow ;)

learnt something new taking this.. how to change the focus point on the camera.. always wondered how to do that.. sooo simple too.. DOH!
