I was settled on another make - but a buddy of mine pointed me to these -

Any thoughts please?

I take it that in the past these lights had there own fitting - but now its the Bowens S type there are lots of modifiers that will fit - any other issues with the kit more knowlegable folk can highlight....

Thanks

My digging on the net has not turned up much about these studio lights so I think I am going to give it a miss and go with my original choice.....The look ok just not sure of the support and spares for the future.

Unless anyone has any glowing reports

Personally if was spending that amount (which I did a while back) I would go with either the Bowens 400/400 kit (which I did :D) or the Elinchrom D-Lite it 4 kit.I'm sure the other brand will get a mention soon enough in the thread which is also a good choice.

That'll be Lencarta ;) :D Yes, they're a good choice also....

PS. You should think about the modifiers you will buy after market as when you buy the heads you are buying into the modifier system. Lencarta use the same fitting as Bowens (S fit) and you can get a decent set of accessories for these. The modifiers tend to be as expensive or more again than the heads.

Seem to be priced up there with the big names.

Not much info out there on them
