Metz 50 AF-1 or Canon Speedlite 430EX ll for 550D?

Can anyone make a sugestion? The Metz is a little cheaper.
 
I've just ordered a Nissan 622 mk 2 which is a little cheaper still. However if i had the money i would have got the 430exii
 
I would buy the Canon too but I don't now if it's worth the extra money. The metz has the director number 50 and it has the same functions as Canon and it's made in Germany. I haven't thought about the Nissin. The Nissin is 50 pounds cheaper than the Metz and almost half the price of the Canon
