Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't see any reference to it when I searched.

Could anyone confirm for me that either one of these flashes is completely compatible with the Nikon D3100?

Also anyone have one of these and would be able to give some feedback as to how good they are?

Will be being used mainly for Nightclub work hence not wanting to spend £300+ on an expensive flash that could easily get broken!

I have a 50AF1 which is fully compatible with my D90 and gives full functionality as would a Nikon gun. Obviously I've never tried it, but it should be OK with a 3100.

I have absolutely no complaints with the 50AF1 and it does everything I need from it without me having to think too much! In other words, you switch it on and use it. It is also sturdily built and will take rechargables.
