Is there any way of getting the Metz 48 af1 to give out the IR focus assist with the Canon 450d? I'm having to take photos in total darkness but in wet dusty conditions, I don't want to risk any better gear, the flash has worked fine with other Canons like 40/50d etc but the focus assist doesn't seem compatable with the 450d.
