Hi,

I have a nice Pentax Spotmatic F that I recently acquired in practically MINT condition (I really mean it - only a couple of scratches around the tripod mount and some slight wear on the eyepiece) along with the 55mm SMC Takumar, a polariser, 2 blue colour correction filters and the original UV filter - all for £60! Ebay is a wonderful thing...

Just out of interest, does anyone know if it will meter correctly through a red filter (i.e a 25A) as reading around I found out that a cds meter like the one in a spotmatic is more sensitive to red than a silicon diode type used today, so in theory it can meter correctly, even possibly into the IR spectrum.

Does anyone have any experience of this?
