As the title reads...

Needs to hold:
Gripped Canon 40d
Tamron 17-55 f2.8 (usually on camera most of time)
Sigma 70-200 f2.8
Canon nifty fifty
Jessops flashgun

I have been more tha happy with a Tamrac rally 6 for the past 6 months a it fitted all the above in (except the grip on the 40D) very well and doesn't look obviuosly like a camera bag.

Don't think the Rally 7 will take the gripped body with lens attached. Also had a look at the Lowe pro messenger AW180. Think that the crumpler cupcake 7500 may be abit to big.

Anything else that i shoul lok at?

Thanks

JD

Check out the Thinktank Retrospective range. I'm sure the Retrospective 10 would be a good size but if you are unsure then the 20 should certainly be big enough.

The Retro20 will take your gripped body with the 70-200 attached, plus the rest of the kit you mention. The Retro10 (which I have) will take all of your kit with one of the shorter lenses attached. If you take all of the dividers out then your gripped body with 70-200 attached will sit in the bottom of the bag horizontally, my gripped 7D with a 70-200L 2.8 II does so nicely. The Pinestone colour option is nice to look at and with the very well laid out pockets it can take a lot of kit while being comfortable due to the wide strap. It looks very like a typical messenger bag, however when I carry my Gitzo 1542 under the flap it does give the game away a little!:bonk:
