That'll work fine, but Play do their own brand which is 8 Gigs in size for not much more.
 
I thought I should go with the 'extreme ultra mega' type ones to ensure a decent read and write speed?
 
'Sup to you. I wouldn't bother. Speed in cards is over-rated. I just make a cup of tea when its transfering, come back and its done.

Not much point having a fast card that is full up. I'd go for size over speed anyday.

it depends what you shoot, Extreme III is 30mb/sec. A raw file from a D60 is 7 or 8 mb, and it shoots at 3fps, so if you shoot alot of sports you wont fill the buffer up and have a locked shutter while it writes to the card.

for the extra couple of quid they are worth it. On my D300 at 6fps i can record 85mb of data a second (6 x 14mb raw files). At that point slow cards really are a pain.

All that said, if you dont shoot at high fps, they are kind of a waste
 
7dayshop are really cheap for SD now, Play's "free" shipping price is sometimes still more than 7dayshop's incl. shipping :thinking:

7day do "unbranded" SD cards, but the times I've ordered them what I've received have been branded ones, just without labels :)
 
Doug you didnt blag one then :lol: TBH ive always found www.mymemory.co.uk are always good on price and also customer serivice is great

I go the same route with my D60, just a few 2 gig cards.
