Ive just been down to Anfield to lay some flowers at Diego Jota's memoroial...really sad occasion and humbling to see how many tokens of thought have been left behind, apart from flowers there are literally thousands of scarfs and football tops left...ok flowers will eventually be able to be binned but does anyone know what happens to the rest of the stuff, surely they can't put them in the bin

With the best will in the world I doubt they will retained/stored.

The logical thing might be textile recycling?

thats what im thinking to be honest, its just a shame, but what do you do with them all, its not just this one there are loads of them all over the country for different things,
