anyone know the best course of action if I miss taking one of my antibiotics? should I space the next few a little bit closer together to catch up take it when I finish the rest of them or throw it in the bin?

Depends on what you are taking. For some it won't matter too much for others it may not help you recovery.

Flucloxacillin 500mg, 4 a day!

it's essentially penicillin.

Just continue taking them as normal and finish the course. If they are prescribed 4x day then take every 6hrs, 3x every 8 hrs 2x 12 hrs. They work most effectively if they are taken with the correct timing between. I wouldnt worry too much if youhave missed one dose. The best thing to do is read the advice sheet that came with the medication or alternativly ring a pharmacy. Hope this helps

I dont think you should put it in the bin. If I were you I would just keep taking your pills as prescribed and you will just finish your pills a few hours later on the last day.

cheers, it's only an infected blister but thanks anyway. the worst bit is not being able to do sport

The main thing is to finish the course, and not abandon it halfway when things seem to have cleared up.

Why not? i have an appointment with my Doctor this afternoon to ask him if he thinks i would be better with a cropped sensor or without

I know I need to finish the course and I thought it better to ask whether to fit the missed one in or add it to the end as I have no idea, saves wasting NHS money too.
