A boat capsized and journalists were tipped into the water as a photo opportunity for New Zealand's Olympic rowing team took an unexpected turn.
Cameramen and photographers were at Lake Karapiro, south of Auckland, to get some shots of the rowers before they left for Beijing.But their launch capsized, leaving them clinging to the upturned hull. After the sinking Video

Yikes, you could just imagine what would happen if you fell into the water with a pro body and telephoto lens hanging round your neck.

I'm surprised none of the gear was attached to the boats though, when I go in my mate's boat my camera bag is in a wet bag attached to the side of the boat...
 
you can see why it capsized though! everyone with heavy 400/2.8 glass adn bigger all leaning to one side!
