Meade ETX 70 - Connecting my 400D?

I have a Meade ETX 70 telescope sitting around and thought I might be able to get some cool moon shots with it if I can connect my 400D.. at which point I got completely lost. I wonder if anyone can steer me in the right direction?

For some reason, I can't get to the first link... telescope house is showing as a corrupt link... Anyway, you're correct on the T ring. I think the ETX70 uses 1.25" eyepiece fittings, in which case you'll need one of

I have heard that the motors on the Meade fork aren't powerful enough for the extra weight of your camera on the back, but it can't hurt to give it a go.

I made some enquiries a while ago with various outlets about connecting my DSLR to the ETX 70. They all said to avoid it as the camera is too heavy, not only for the motors on the telescope, but also the mount / tripod.
