me again

i have just downloaded adobe camera raw 5.2 and installed it but dont know whers it went on my computer ?? any ideas
i opened up my elements 7 with a raw inage but it is still using acr 4.5
so how do i make it use 5.2
appoligies for being so dumb but its the only thing i need no help with

you have to put the plugin in the plugin folder for elements 7, download it again and make sure you know where it saves it this time and delete 1 of them.
so your main drive, program files, adobe, elements 7, plugin folder and just put the (8bi) file there, job done.

1. Exit Photoshop and Adobe Bridge.
2. Open the download file and double-click CameraProfiles.exe and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Double-click Local Disk (C drive usually)
4. Navigate to Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\*your verson of photoshop*\File Formats.
5. Move the existing Camera Raw.8bi plug-in to another location (for example, a new folder on your
desktop). Ensure you keep this version in case you need to revert back.
6. Copy the Camera Raw plug-in, Camera Raw.8bi, from the download into the same folder as Step 4.
7. Launch Photoshopor Adobe Bridge.

Note is does vary slightly depending on what software your using.
