not trying to make this a racism thread but...

just watching Deal or no deal and theres a welsh man on it playing for the money,

most people who have opened a box for him have put on a welsh accent in a "take the pi55 " manor, including Noel Edmonds?!

now..

if he was from pakistan , india, or any other middle eastern country and they put on a accent then all hell would break loose!

rant over?... maybe...

Don't even get me started. The double standards going on today gets me so mad :bang:

Radio 1: "....... Love black music? Love 1xtra....."

So what would happen if they/we started to promote "white" music. Exactly. :razz:

And also, who remembers when prince charles did that ceremony to celebrate all the good things that the Pakistani's have done for England?

Down here we spent years getting rid of apartheid (:eek: yes, ugly word I know...)

Now we have the black lawyers' association, the black gun owners association and who knows how many more:bang::bonk::bonk::gag:
 
Was discussing the whole MOBO and 1XTRA issue with hubby the other day.. He said it's these pen pushers sat in offices that say "Oh no that word might possibly one day be slightly offensive, we better ban it".

I don't agree with racism, but things are too far the other way now.
 
Plus we have the "Black Police Officers Association", imagine the uproar if we had a white equivalant....:cuckoo:
