I am an advertising photographer and have just moved to the UK, specifically to London.
I want to shoot about a dozen different landscapes in the Lake district over a week or so and thought I'd ask around here if anyone wanted to join me.
I'm not familiar with the Lake District and figured if I find a local photographer (or several) whose interested in shooting as well, then I'd also have someone to help me figure out where to go and also have some company for the hikes, which is always nice.
My plans aren't figured out yet, as I have only just arrived in the UK and have a lot of logistics to figure out, but I'm thinking of coming up north in a couple of weeks or so, and spending about a week traveling around.
I figure 7 days means hopefully 7 sunrises and 7 sunsets to shoot at, and as I need these for backgrounds for composites, I'm not worried about getting a "perfect landscape shot", but rather multiple "background plates", which I use as a base for digital composites later on.
Well... thats it really. If anyone fancies some company and hiking for landscape photography - here is a nice chance.
